Imagine you’re driving an RV and looking for a place to park for the night. You check your phone and see some parks. One has three stars, another has two, and another has no stars. Which one would you pick? Most people would check out the three-star park first.

If you’re a new RV park owner, you might wonder how to get stars for your park.

How Does the Star Rating System Work?

It's like school grades but for businesses. If you have more good reviews, your grade (or stars) goes up. So, we want two things:

  1. Get more good reviews.
  2. Try to avoid bad reviews.

You can't always avoid bad reviews, but there are ways to get less of them.

How to Get Good Reviews

  1. Listen and Act Fast: If someone has a problem, fix it before they leave a bad review.
  2. Do a Good Job: Make sure everyone has a good time. If people are happy, they’ll leave good reviews.
  3. Ask How Their Stay Was: After someone leaves, ask them how their stay was. If they liked it, ask them to write a review. If they didn't, try to fix the problem.
